For whatever reason, I was feeling kinda tired today. I did my bridge at 10 a.m., but cancelled my cooking (hands-on) class with Chef Paulette Mitchell. I wasn’t that interested in what they were cooking, and I just wasn’t excited about cooking today. Instead I went to the second talk by Aileen Bridgewater. It was good, but not nearly as good as her first one. She shared stories about some of her interviews and ended with the one with the Dahli Lama.
Then Doug and I had lunch in the Lido and talked to Marty and Wray from our dinner dining group. It was fun to catch up with them since we hadn’t been to our table in so long.
After lunch I took a nap – could hardly keep my eyes open. We lost yet another hour this afternoon, so my nap wasn’t quite as long as I had hoped for!
Had dinner with our regular table. It was another Indian dinner – this time in the regular dining room. They didn’t do much in the way of decoration – just an Indian flag on the table. It was a pleasant dinner.
We didn’t go to the show or movie because we wanted to see the movie we had missed the day before – The Men Who Stare at Goats. We would have been better off going to the show. But at least I got to work more on my Blog.
Not the most exciting of days, but a day on the ship is still a treat!
An aside: several days ago, our cabin stewards made us a towel animal. They do it now and then when you are on the ship for such a long time. I commented that I was going to start putting them in my window and make a zoo or menagerie. The next night, they added three new animals to the towel animal collection. Last night two more appeared, and tonight yet another. I don’t know who is having more fun with this – us or them!
Our window is looking mighty alive and good! And they don’t eat too much!!
